INFORMATION
Futaba Information Center(FIC) is the facilitiy to share the story of Great East Japan Earthquake and nuclear power plant accident founded by Futaba Future Meeting, Non-profit organization runs by futaba municipal citizens.
FIC haz three main purposes "sharing the story through the citizen's eye","archaving the information of Great East Japan Earthquake and the nuclear disaster",and"communicative open-spaces for all visitors and citizens".
You can study valuavle information throught multipul forms such as book,movies,and board. Please contact us if you are visiting in more than 10 people group or need English guide staff.

Panel display corner
We display panels to make it easy to understand visually information such as public organizations and education related areas including Futaba 8 municipalities. You can also browse the selected books freely.

Big monitor
We archive the history of Futaba 8 municipalities with video. In addition, the information etc. which each village has delivered is always reflected. At the time of a meeting, you can also project the screen of your computer.

Futaba-gun 3D map
A 1/31/1700 Futaba 3-D map is regularly installed. The size is 185 × 135 cm. Let's look at the location of towns and villages and facilities.

Shared space
Anyone can use it here freely. You can browse the documents and books slowly here. It can also be used at meetings and events. New discoveries and connections are created by the interaction between visitors.

We sell Futaba-gun products, specialties and goods. How about souvenirs and memorials?
User Guide ・ Attention of Visit
・Admission free.
・No smoking in the building.
・You may move the table or chair, but be sure to return it to its original position.
・Please take home the trash in principle that you brought in.
・Although it is possible to bring food and drink, please don’t make exhibits and equipment dirty.
・Please inquire in advance when you visit a group.
・You can take pictures in the building, but please refrain from posting to the Internet or SNS of photos that show details such as exhibits and panels.
SHARE SPACE
You can use this building as a multipurpose space.
However, you can not make reservations for the exhibition space during the opening hours.
